On December 15, 2015, OECD held an international conference “From Policies to Implementation: Sustaining Reforms in Ukraine”, which was organized with an aim to conclude the project Sector Competitiveness Strategy for Ukraine – Phase III, that was co-financed by the European Union and the Government of Sweden.
During this international conference were presented analysis and recommendations done by the OECD to address issues related to investment, competitiveness and private sector development, with focus on the agribusiness and energy sectors. Representatives from the OECD, Embassy of Sweden to Ukraine, the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, State Agency of Energy Efficiency and Energy Savings of Ukraine, Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine participated in the conference. During the discussions, participants discussed progress in implementation of the defined recommendations and planned further steps.
OECD presented five reports that provide action plans for the implementation of policy recommendations to support the development of agribusiness SMEs and energy-related activities in Ukraine in line with OECD standards. The reports also provide specific actions to encourage more and better quality investment.
