They have voting rights and enjoy all the benefits of EUEA membership.<\/p><br>Honorary Members do not pay membership fees. These may be state or local authorities or non-governmental organisations. Honorary Members have the right to actively participate in certain EUEA events, but only have a consultative vote, which is accepted as advice and is not binding on the Association.<br><br>Potential EUEA Members must work in the energy sector and share the EUEA&#8217;s mission, as stated in the FAQs and in more detail in the Association&#8217;s Statutes.<br><br>The decision to grant Full or Honorary Membership is made by the Board by a simple majority vote based on the information provided in the registration form.
