Following persons participated at the discussion: Olena Rybak, Director of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency; Andr\u00e9 K\u00fc\u00fcsvek, EBRD Country Director; Tocheny Vadim Anatolievych, manager of the national project \u201cEnergy of the nature\u201d, the State Investment and Management of National Projects Agency of Ukraine; Timur Bondaryev, Managing Partner of the Arzinger Legal Office.<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-15799\" src=\"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/Austr-Legal-Day-1.JPG\" alt=\"\" height=\"232\" hspace=\"5\" vspace=\"5\" width=\"350\" align=\"right\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Speakers of this panel raised a question on imperfections and perspectives of the state stimulation of the alternative energy industry in connection to the law on the \u201cgreen\u201d tariff which came into force. The participants noted that the \u201cgreen\u201d tariff law is a right step, same as possibility to receive VAT privileges for renewable electric power. But comparing situation in Ukraine with other countries, some directions for improvement of the legislation can be found. First of all, it concerns the prolongation of the validity term for the \u201cgreen\u201d tariff.
