In&nbsp;his speech \u201cOpportunities and problems in using biogas from a legal point of view\u201d he explained first of&nbsp;all the variety that biogas provides to the users (use of raw biogas, use of refined biogas, co-generation, use as biofuel for transport). The main obstacle for comprehensive using biogas at the moment is the absence of green tariff for electricity made of biogas from animal waste and the unclear situation concerning landfill gas. A significant regional development of biogas plants, according to Wolfram Rehbock, might be reached by means of a green tariff for the biogas itself (not only for electricity made of biogas), the more Ukraine is independent with regard to electricity, but not with regard to natural gas.
