The particular focus was given to a possible solution to energy efficiency retrofits in buildings and industry represented by energy service companies (ESCOs).<\/p>\n<p>EBRD, IFC, Kfw, relevant governmental institutions and NGOs from Latvia, Hungary, Austria, the Netherlands and others shared their experiences in successful project implementation and policy measures, as well as main challenges on the way to reaching the positive results in energy saving.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Representatives of EUEA participated at the 8th JRC Workshop on Energy Efficiency in Buildings held in Moscow on September 2-3, 2010.
