The participants were informed about the new standards in the EU, financial instruments of EBRD and various projects promoting and supporting EE in buildings. Elena Rybak in her presentation presented the status on energy efficiency in buildings in Ukraine, informed participants about initiatives held within the sector by international donors community, and introduced EUEA position paper on EE in buildings as the main proposal to be brought to the attention of Ukrainian authorities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On May 20, 2010, Director of EUEA, Elena Rybak participated in the Third Meeting of the Easter Partnership Platform 3: \u201cEnergy Security\u201d held in the European Commission in Brussels.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Joint Declaration of the Prague Easter Partnership Summit, the multilateral framework of the Eastern Partnership will provide for cooperation activities and free dialogue on the issues of transition, reform and modernization, and give the EU an additional instruments to accompany these processes.
