Sokal district administration held a meeting with a representative of Bioproekt-K LLC (representative of French investors in Ukraine). Legal procedure of 200 hectares land plot obtaining in the area to grow energy poplar was main point to discussion during the meeting. Bioproekt-K LLC already rents 150 acres of reserve lands under Korchivskoyi village council subordination. <a href=\"http:\/\/lvivexpres.com\/news\/2013\/08\/27\/50834-energetychna-topolya-maye-zaminyty-gaz-rayonu-lvivshchyny\">Source<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Protection and Nuclear Safety of Germany plans to support pilot bioenergy projects in Ukraine. This was announced by Yvonne Lindenlaub, referent on cooperation with Russia, Ukraine and Central Asia during the meeting within the educational program for professionals in the field of climate and energy that is currently taking place in Germany. &#8220;Renewable energy is the area that we would like to support. There is a large bioenergy potential in Ukraine. There are many organizations in Ukraine that could support these projects.
