{"id":17645,"date":"2014-04-15T09:21:28","date_gmt":"2014-04-15T06:21:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/english-category\/news\/euea-latest-accomplishments\/ukraine-s-sustainable-energy-future-challenges-and-opportunities-project-is-successfully-accomplished\/"},"modified":"2014-04-15T09:21:28","modified_gmt":"2014-04-15T06:21:28","slug":"ukraine-s-sustainable-energy-future-challenges-and-opportunities-project-is-successfully-accomplished","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/en\/news\/euea-latest-accomplishments\/ukraine-s-sustainable-energy-future-challenges-and-opportunities-project-is-successfully-accomplished\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cUkraine\u2019s Sustainable Energy Future \u2013 Challenges and Opportunities\u201d project is successfully accomplished!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-16713\" src=\"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/UK_Emb_logo.jpg\" width=\"140\" height=\"115\" alt=\"UK Emb logo\"  \/>On Friday 11<sup>th<\/sup> April, 2014, European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA) held the closing event for the British-financed project &ldquo;<i>Ukraine&rsquo;s Sustainable Energy Future &ndash; Challenges and Opportunities<\/i>&rdquo;, which took place at the British Embassy&rsquo;s premises in Kyiv.<\/p>\n<p>This 2-hours event consisted of a Business\/Social breakfast giving the opportunity to <strong><span ><a href=\"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/List_of_participants_April_11_business_breakfast_final.pdf\">participants<\/a><\/span><\/strong> to hear the opinions and updates on Energy Efficiency policy in Ukraine and in particular to the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP) to 2020, which the State Agency for Energy Saving and Energy Conservations (SAEE) of Ukraine has been developing within the framework of the Energy Community treaty.<\/p>\n<p>Among the speakers, Ms. Lavery, First Secretary on Energy Policy, Head of the Commercial Department (British Embassy), and Mr. Wolfram Rehbock, chairman of EUEA, opened the event by saying a few words on the relevance of Energy Efficiency in Ukraine as well as the main outcomes of the project developed by EUEA.
