As expected, the first documents will be approved&nbsp;<b>by the end of July<\/b>, and the first auctions can be held already at the beginning of next year.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmu.gov.ua\/ua\/news\/glava-uryadu-elektronni-aukcioni-na-dozvoli-j-licenziyi-u-gazovidobuvanni-krok-do-energonezalezhnosti\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>24.07.2018<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Representatives of the&nbsp;<b>European Investment Bank<\/b>&nbsp;together with SAEE &nbsp;discussed Ukraine&#8217;s plans for the&nbsp;<b>issuance of &#8220;green&#8221; bonds<\/b>. Ten years ago, the EIB became&nbsp;<b>a pioneer in the green bond market<\/b>, issuing the first bond, Climate Awareness Bond (CAB). Since then, the bank issued about&nbsp;<b>20 billion euros of &lsquo;green&rsquo; bonds.&nbsp;<\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/saee.gov.ua\/uk\/news\/2483\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>US Secretary of State for Energy Resources<\/b>&nbsp;, Francis Fennon emphasized that the United States is determined to continue&nbsp;<b>the transit of gas through the territory of Ukraine<\/b>&nbsp;and the opposition to the&nbsp;<b>North Stream 2.&nbsp;<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmu.gov.ua\/ua\/news\/ukrayina-i-ssha-rozglyadayut-proekt-pivnichnij-potik-2-yak-zagrozu-energobezpeci-yevropi-zustrich-glavi-uryadu-z-zastupnikom-derzhavnogo-sekretarya-ssha\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>25.07.2018<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The state institution&nbsp;<b>&#8220;Energy Efficiency Fund of Ukraine&#8221;<\/b>&nbsp;<b>is officially registered<\/b>&nbsp;as a legal entity.&nbsp;<b>Julia Holovatyuk-Unguryanu<\/b>&nbsp;is appointed as the Director of the Fund. The procedure for the competitive selection of&nbsp;<b>members of the Supervisory Board will be initiated<\/b>&nbsp;soon. 8 (out of 9 necessary)&nbsp;<b>resolutions of the<\/b>&nbsp;<b>CMU<\/b>, which regulate the work of the Fund, were signed, as well as 3 international agreements on the financing. The &#8220;hand book&#8221; for the condominiums&nbsp; will be presented in September.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmu.gov.ua\/ua\/news\/fond-energoefektivnosti-oficijno-zareyestrovano-ta-priznacheno-vo-direktora-gennadij-zubko\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine&nbsp;<b>upgrades state building regulations<\/b>, in particular, with the aim of rational development of&nbsp;<b>traffic in cities<\/b>&nbsp;with a population of more than 100 thousand people. A standard for the development of a comprehensive&nbsp;<b>transport scheme for 30-40 years<\/b>&nbsp;shall be &nbsp;introduced. Corresponding changes are contained in the new&nbsp;<b>State Building Regulations B.2.2-12: 2018 &#8220;Planning and Building on Territories&#8221;,<\/b>&nbsp;which will come into force on September 1, 2018.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmu.gov.ua\/ua\/news\/veliki-mista-mayut-rozroblyati-kompleksni-shemi-transportu-na-30-40-rokiv-lev-parchaladze\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>26.07.2018<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The SAEE together with GIZ signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on&nbsp;<b>stimulating enterprises to increase energy efficiency<\/b>. Training of specialists in energy management in industry according to European standards has been already conducted within the framework of the project and the creation of a legislative mechanism for stimulating&nbsp;<b>energy efficiency in industry<\/b>&nbsp;started.&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/saee.gov.ua\/uk\/news\/2487\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (<b>EBRD<\/b>) under the Ukraine Sustainable Energy Lending Facility (USELF) will provide a loan of EUR&nbsp;<b>5.6 million to Ekotechnik Shyroke LLC<\/b>&nbsp;to build&nbsp;<b>7 MW solar power plant<\/b>&nbsp;in Dnipropetrovsk region.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/open4business.com.ua\/ebrd-to-provide-eur-5-6-mln-for-building-solar-power-plant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>27.07.2018<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>A public database<\/b>&nbsp;on evailability&nbsp;<b>of heat and water meters<\/b>&nbsp;will appear in Ukraine.
