Against the backdrop of a total <b>reduction in energy investment by 2%<\/b> to $ 1.8 trillion. <a href=\"https:\/\/dtek.com\/ua\/media-center\/press\/potentsial-dlya-investitsiy-v-energoeffektivnost-ogromen\/\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the first half of 2018, <b>477 international technical assistance projects totaling $ 4.9 billion<\/b> worth were performed in&nbsp;&nbsp;<b>Ukraine<\/b>. <b>Energy and energy efficiency &#8211; $ 149.4 million (4%).<\/b> The largest in terms of funding projects from donors providing international Ukraine&#8217;s technical assistance is: USA, EBRD, EU, Germany, Canada. &nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.me.gov.ua\/News\/Detail?lang=uk-UA&amp;id=61c4cc77-3dc6-4102-bbe6-9958f103d889&amp;title=UIPivrichchi2018-RokuVUkrainiRealizovuvalisDonorskiProektiNa-4-9-Mlrd\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The EU is ready to provide a second tranche of <b>&euro; 54 million<\/b> in support of <b>the Energy Efficiency Fund<\/b> of Ukraine. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmu.gov.ua\/ua\/news\/yes-nadast-nastupni-54-mln-yevro-na-fond-energoefektivnosti-gennadij-zubko\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Regional Development, together with international partners of the World Bank, has developed <b>a route map for condominiums and co-owners of multi-apartment buildings to work with the Energy Efficiency Fund<\/b>. &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmu.gov.ua\/ua\/news\/mi-rozrobili-pokrokovij-marshrut-dlya-roboti-osbb-z-fondom-energoefektivnosti-gennadij-zubko\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The National Bank of Ukraine promulgated a <b>draft currency regulation structure<\/b>, which will come into force together with the entry into force of the Law &#8220;On Currency and Currency Transactions&#8221; on February 7, 2019. Instead of the current base of 56 normative legal acts in the area of currency regulation, there will be only <b>7 key ones<\/b>. <a href=\"https:\/\/bank.gov.ua\/control\/uk\/publish\/article?art_id=77669399&amp;cat_id=55838\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>A mobile application &#8220;Energy Online&#8221;<\/b> will be created in the form of <b>an open database<\/b> and will contain an actual gas and electricity tariffs; network operators, suppliers of gas and electricity; service centers for operators of networks of gas suppliers, electric power; investment plans (programs) of network operators etc. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nerc.gov.ua\/?news=7979\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The network of high-speed charging stations <b>STRUM<\/b>, operated by the DTEK energy company, will begin <b>to charge UBERDRIVE electric vehicle fleet<\/b>, the largest UBER partner in Ukraine. <a href=\"https:\/\/dtek.com\/ua\/media-center\/press\/dtek-will-charge-uberdrive-electric-vehicles\/\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On September 20, <b>Ukrenergo <\/b>held an open discussion on changes to the Company&#8217;s <b>Investment Program<\/b> in 2018. Specifically, it is planned to increase the volume of the Investment Program by <b>UAH 271 million.<\/b> <a href=\"https:\/\/ua.energy\/osnovni-podiyi\/v-ukrenergo-obgovoryly-zminy-do-investprogramy-na-2018-r\/\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Ukrenergo and Moldelectrica<\/b> signed three new provisions of the Exploitation Agreement on parallel work in the control unit of Ukraine-Republic of Moldova. This document is being processed under the <b>ENTSO-E<\/b> Energy Dialogue Plan for Ukraine and Moldova. &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ua.energy\/osnovni-podiyi\/ukrenergo-ta-moldelektryka-adaptuyut-dogovirnu-bazu-za-pravylamy-entso-e\/\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p>NPC &#8220;Ukrenergo&#8221; and SE &#8220;Energorynok&#8221; in December 2018 will launch the software necessary for the <b>retail segment of the new electricity market<\/b>, said Vice Prime Minister Volodymyr Kystion. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmu.gov.ua\/ua\/news\/v-uryadi-obgovorili-hid-reformi-rinku-elektrichnoyi-energiyi-pershij-etap-yakoyi-startuye-v-grudni-cogo-roku\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ukrainian agroholding intends to build <b>a bioethanol plant<\/b> with a capacity of 4,000 Dahl per day. <a href=\"https:\/\/ecotown.com.ua\/news\/Ukrayiskyy-ahrokholdynh-maye-namir-pobuduvaty-bioetanolnyy-tsekh-potuzhnistyu-4-tys-dal-na-dobu\/\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>In Tokmak<\/b> (Zaporozhye region), a <b>bio-electric power plant<\/b> will be installed, which can replace at least 3 million m3 of gas during the heating period and provide the bridge with thermal energy and hot water.
