{"id":19058,"date":"2018-12-19T17:16:39","date_gmt":"2018-12-19T15:16:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/english-category\/news\/euea-latest-accomplishments\/members-of-euea-met-with-finland-ukrainian-trust-fund\/"},"modified":"2018-12-19T17:16:39","modified_gmt":"2018-12-19T15:16:39","slug":"members-of-euea-met-with-finland-ukrainian-trust-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/en\/news\/euea-latest-accomplishments\/members-of-euea-met-with-finland-ukrainian-trust-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"Members of EUEA met with Finland-Ukrainian Trust Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-19056\" src=\"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/UKR-FIN_Fund.jpg\" width=\"428\" height=\"321\" alt=\"UKR-FIN Fund\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Recently, members of European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA) met with coordinators from the Ukrainian side of the Finnish-Ukrainian Trust Fund to obtain more detailed information on the financing of RES and EE projects. &nbsp;The meeting was attended from Fund side by Andriy Levkonyuk and Konstantin Gura, from EUEA &ndash; Oleksandra Gumeniuk (Director), Dmytro Priunas (<span ><b><a href=\"http:\/\/indsolar.com.ua\/\">Indian Solar<\/a><\/b><\/span>, new member of EUEA).<\/p>\n<p>The Trust Finnish-Ukrainian Trust Fund, finances sustainable development projects from the end of May 2018, has started operating in Ukraine, the total budget of the fund is 6 million Euros for 5 years. The decision on the evaluation of applications is made in three levels: the State Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving Agency of Ukraine, then NEFCO in Finland and the final decision-making link &#8211; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.<\/p>\n<p>Target audience, that is, those who can apply for funding &#8211; municipalities and private companies. It is important that projects will have a significant positive social impact.
