Market participants had to assess their readiness for a new market and highlight the problems they have met or could potentially meet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span >Among the participants were Parliament members Lev Pidlisetskyy, Olga Bielkova, Artur Martovitsky, Viktoriya Vojtsitskaa; Commissioners Dmitry Kovalenko, Olena Antonova; Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Ihor Nasalyk; NEC &#8220;Ukrenergo&#8221; Vsevolod Kovalchuk, Andrii Nemyrovskyi; from Energorynok Yuriy Hnatyuk; from DTEK Maksym Tymchenko, Oleksiy Zakharchuk; from Energoatom &nbsp;Sergiy Bedin, from Ukrhydroenergo Oleksiy Nikitin; Chairman of the Board of wholesale electricity market of Ukraine&nbsp; Oleksandr Sahura, representatives of professional organizations, analysts &#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span >The participants of the discussion agree that there are numerous problems with readiness for the market. Among such problems are mentioned: the significant lack of commercial accounting points, and accuracy of data in existing ; &nbsp;points of commercial accounting; unsolved problems of repayment of accumulated debts and the existence of cross-subsidization; the lack of regulatory framework for the operation of the market of bilateral agreements and the market of ancillary services &#8211; therefore, on July 1, 2019, the market will be launched without two important segments; completion of the creation of the Market Operator and the Guaranteed Buyer; the test mode was carried out in separate blocks of software, and completely, close to real, with the interaction of the software of different market operators and data exchange was not carried out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span ><strong>The main thoughts were two:<\/strong> to launch the market on time, but with significant restrictions (price caps on different market segments) or to delay its launch.
