EUEA joined the Ukrainian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum in 2018 and is actively involved in the work of Working Group 3 (WG3). The priority topics of the Working Group are:<\/p>\n<p><em>Environment and Climate Change<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Environmental and climate sustainability of the Eastern Partnership &#8211; assessment, prospects and achievements in Ukraine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Energy Security<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development of renewable energy and creation of balancing capacities &#8211; analysis of challenges for the sustainability of Ukraine&#8217;s energy system in terms of achieving energy and climate goals.<\/li>\n<li>Search for new forms of gas cooperation in the context of sectoral integration into the EU market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Transport<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Greening of transport policy in Ukraine.<\/li>\n<li>Analysis and recommendations on road safety in Ukraine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This week, from 07.07 to 10.07, online sessions of WG3 delegates from the Eastern Partnership countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) on transport, environment and energy as part of the European Green Deal are taking place.
