issue\u00a0\u201cOn the decision of the NEURC on debt repayment on the electricity market\u201d; the respective decision was not approved at the meeting and further consideration of the issue was postponed to the meeting of the NEURC scheduled on\u00a0January 13, 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To remind, the\u00a0NEURC\u00a0was intended to prohibit the transfer of funds, according to the signed loan agreements between\u00a0&#8220;Ukrenergo&#8221;\u00a0and three state-owned banks, for the purpose of repaying debts to\u00a0RES\u00a0electricity producers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Today, a letter was sent to the Regulator on behalf of three leading associations of the renewable energy sector of Ukraine, European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA), Ukrainian Wind Energy Association (UWEA), Ukrainian Association of Renewable Energy (UARE), which unite international and national Ukrainian investors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">We propose to withdraw the issue\u00a0\u201cOn the decision of the NEURC on debt repayment on the electricity market\u201d, as we\u00a0believe that approval of such draft resolution by the NEURC contradicts the norms of the applicable laws and exceeds the powers\u00a0prescribed\u00a0by the law, namely:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unjustified NEURC\u2019s position regarding the exclusion of debts to RES producers as of August\u00a01,\u00a02020, from the amount of total debts that will be repaid by SE \u201cGuaranteed Buyer\u201d using loans raised by NPC Ukrenergo<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Exceeding of authorities by the NEURC while specifying the\u00a0directions of debt repayment for\u00a0the\u00a0SE\u00a0\u201cGuaranteed Buyer\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Read the original letter: <a
