The companies listed on the platform are assessed according to national or international green certification criteria such as\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogbc.org\/en\/projects\/green-homes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Green Homes<\/a>\u00a0in Romania,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/homeperformanceindex.ie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Home Performance Index<\/a>\u00a0in Ireland or GBC\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gbcitalia.org\/web\/guest\/certificazione\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Home<\/a>\u00a0in Italy.<\/p>\n<p>The main objective of this platform is to provide architects, design teams or certifiers pursuing a Green Certification with relevant solution providers. The platform will simplify the certification process by allowing users to easily communicate and choose the right products for specification or services that perform to green certification standards.<\/p>\n<p>It provides a marketplace for companies that have specialist or \u201cgreener\u201d products that may have a higher premium or don\u2019t necessarily fit regular\u00a0projects. The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/greenhomes.solutions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GreenHomes.Solutions<\/a>\u00a0platform connects products and services directly with interested developers, architects, designers or certifiers and is a useful tool for business opportunities both ways.<\/p>\n<p>How does a green product supplier or service provider join? The process is simple. We do an assessment on the products of the company willing to become a \u2018Green Homes Solution Provider\u2019 and then list that company on the platform if the products\/services comply with the green certification requirements. At the same time, the company gets a certificate for the products\/services assessed and pays an annual fee for the space on the platform.<\/p>\n<p>The platform is currently operating under beta testing as part of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/c2e2.unepdtu.org\/smarter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EU SMARTER initiative<\/a>\u00a0and is updated regularly with new Green Homes Solution Providers from the SMARTER partner countries.
