{"id":24720,"date":"2021-02-16T19:16:27","date_gmt":"2021-02-16T17:16:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/?p=24720"},"modified":"2021-02-16T19:16:27","modified_gmt":"2021-02-16T17:16:27","slug":"oleksandra-gumeniuk-took-part-in-the-three-day-all-ukrainian-forum-ukraine-30","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/en\/news\/market-news\/oleksandra-gumeniuk-took-part-in-the-three-day-all-ukrainian-forum-ukraine-30\/","title":{"rendered":"Oleksandra Gumeniuk took part in the three-day All-Ukrainian Forum \u00abUkraine 30\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Oleksandra Gumeniuk, Director of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency, took part in the three-day All-Ukrainian Forum \u00abUkraine 30\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">In her speech, Mrs. Oleksandra underscore the most important aspects of the development of renewable energy, and noted the current situation in the RES sector, which is unstable and critical, there is a so-called critical point &#8211; the fulfillment of obligations by the State to foreign and Ukrainian investors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Therefore, today there is an urgent need to stabilize the RES sector, it is necessary together with investors, experts, associations and representatives of the Government of Ukraine find a solution that will solve the problem in the RES sector as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mrs. Oleksandra also called to follow the international trend of RES, as in the future it will lead to economic rationality, to minimize operating costs and increase the number of skilled jobs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Oleksandra, the next stage in the development of RES in Ukraine is auctions. Why auctions? Because with the help of auctions the state can control in which regions there is a greater need of RES, and, what is extremely important, the price of electricity produced from renewable energy sources is more attractive, as it will be lower than by<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>the &#8220;green tariff&#8221;.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Auctions are also an attractive mechanism for investors, as the contract will last for 20 years (according to the current legislation of Ukraine).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The next stage in the development of renewable energy after the completion of the &#8220;green&#8221; tariff mechanism is the participation of RES producers in the electricity market, namely the opportunity to sell electricity at market prices. Independently, relations can also be formed for corporate agreements, ie direct agreements of enterprises with RES electricity producers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, without resolving the issue of non-payment in the green energy sector under the system of &#8220;green&#8221; tariffs, we will not be able to move to the auction system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Therefore, first of all, it is necessary to improve state management renewable energy state support mechanism.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">And we, as an association, hope that current problems in the RES sector will be solved and it will restore the confidence of foreign and Ukrainian investors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align:
