{"id":25346,"date":"2021-04-30T12:43:33","date_gmt":"2021-04-30T09:43:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/?p=25346"},"modified":"2021-04-30T14:43:57","modified_gmt":"2021-04-30T11:43:57","slug":"euea-together-with-industry-associations-sent-a-letter-against-new-taxes-for-res","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/en\/news\/market-news\/euea-together-with-industry-associations-sent-a-letter-against-new-taxes-for-res\/","title":{"rendered":"EUEA together with industry associations sent a letter against new taxes for RES"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today, April 30, 2021, EUEA together with industry associations sent a letter to the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Prime Minister of Ukraine and others regarding possible changes in the Tax Code of Ukraine on the introduction of excise tax on electricity produced from renewable energy sources.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">It will be recalled that the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine is preparing a draft law with a package of amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine, which is planned to be approved at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for further consideration and adoption. Among other changes, was announced the introduction of an excise tax on the electricity sale produced from renewable energy sources (RES). A wide range of excise tax rates is currently being discussed, ranging from 3.2% to 40%.
