{"id":28681,"date":"2022-09-12T09:07:00","date_gmt":"2022-09-12T06:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/?p=28681"},"modified":"2022-09-12T09:07:26","modified_gmt":"2022-09-12T06:07:26","slug":"the-euea-sent-its-proposals-to-ministry-of-energy-to-the-draft-law-of-ukraine-on-extending-the-term-of-commissioning-of-res-facilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/en\/news\/market-news\/the-euea-sent-its-proposals-to-ministry-of-energy-to-the-draft-law-of-ukraine-on-extending-the-term-of-commissioning-of-res-facilities\/","title":{"rendered":"The EUEA sent its proposals to Ministry of Energy to the draft Law of Ukraine on extending the term of commissioning of RES facilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">On September 9, 2022, EUEA sent a letter with proposals to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine regarding the Draft Law of Ukraine &#8220;On amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine regarding the extension of the term of commissioning of renewable energy facilities under contracts for the purchase and sale of electricity at the \u00abgreen\u00bb tariff, concluded by December 31, 2019.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Letter:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/euea-energyagency.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/EUEA-Letter-Ministry-on-Pre-PPA-Extension-2022.09.09.pdf\">EUEA Letter Ministry on Pre-PPA Extension 2022.09.09<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After analyzing the provisions of the proposed Draft Law, the <strong>EUEA expresses its support for this initiative<\/strong> of the Ministry and supports the need to extend by at least 2 years the relevant terms related to connection to the network and commissioning of power plants operating on RES, the construction of which was planned during 2022.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, in the Draft Law, the issue of extending by 2 years the deadlines for the obligations of business entities regarding the construction and commissioning of electricity facilities, which are built in accordance with such technical conditions, remains unsettled.<strong> We ask<\/strong> you to supplement the Draft Law with appropriate amendments to Part 4 of Article 71 of the Law of Ukraine &#8220;On the Electricity Market&#8221;, which will regulate the mentioned issue.
