Ministry of Regional Development and Communal Services of Ukraine will take over the functions of the Covenant of Mayors initiative coordinator in Ukraine. This was announced by Natalie Oleinyk, Director of the Department of Reform Strategy at the Forum “Covenant of Mayors – changes vector for the European Neighborhood region and Central Asia”.

The agreement with the European Commission is being developed now; the major Ministry’s commitments will be: support in fundraising and implementation of new financial mechanisms together with defining methodology for reporting and informing the European Commission on the implementation of their commitments.
