New episode of the podcast EUEA Dialogues!

«Green» mortgage and everything we need to know about sustainability in construction — watch the latest episode of the EUEA Dialogues podcast!

In the new episode of the podcast, we discuss the key aspects of green mortgages and sustainability in construction, using the experience of the European Union and, in particular, Ireland as an example.

Our guest on the podcast is Jeff Colley, editor and publisher of Passive House Plus Green Building Magazine, chairman of the Heat Pump Association of Ireland, and communications manager for the SMARTER4EU project.

The host is Olena Rybak, Deputy Chair of the Board of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency and Executive Director of iC consulenten in Ukraine.

In Ukraine, the green construction market is just beginning to develop, and certain projects are already being implemented following the NZEB (Nearly Zero-Energy Buildings) approach. It is essential that all new buildings meet energy efficiency requirements, which will not only reduce energy consumption but also ensure sustainability in construction.

The SMARTER4EU project aims to promote «green» mortgages in Ukraine and develop green building certification across Europe. This will enable banks to offer favorable terms for those building or purchasing eco-friendly housing, and help stimulate the construction of energy-efficient homes.

We invite you to listen to the podcast, where we discuss these important topics in more detail and their impact on Ukrainian society.

The podcast is recorded in English. You can find the link to the video here.
