“In accordance with the regulations of the Council of Ministers (EEC), the presidency of EC Member States in the organization is carried out in alphabetical order. Thus, Ukraine’s chairmanship began on January 1 and will end on 31 December 2014”, – said the director of information policy MFA of Ukraine Yevhen Perebeinis.
Kyiv has identified the priorities for the presidency, which are ensuring of the implementation of a number of the Council of Ministers decisions regarding the implementation of the “third energy package” within the national legislation of member countries of and a number of other EU policies in the field of ecology, energy efficiency, open markets and more.
