Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine proposes Parliament to introduce taxation of alternative motor fuels at a level of EUR 139 per 1 ton, or at 70% of the rate of motor gasoline.
It is stated in the Bill No 4309, registered at the Parliament on 21 July (in Ukrainian).
The Government proposes to introduce taxation of alternative fuels as fuel containing less than 70% of the oil component is not subject to excise tax.
As reported in the January-May, Ukraine imported 826.013 tons of gasoline for the total of USD 805,139,000.
