Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated individual that can play the role of Project Coordinator. The position offers opportunities to assess energy efficiency and energy management from an integrated point of view in dynamic everyday life. You should be aware and have previous experience of work in the sphere of energy efficiency, energy management, climate change and adaptation to climate change, green hydrogen. Good working English is required.
Tasks for this role will include:
Project part:
– to initiate projects, which can be relevant for the market in the scope of EUEA core work;
– to prepare grant applications, have experience in work with donors;
– to ensure that, the project is running smoothly, on time and to budget, in the frame of the project work;
– to plan certain parts of the project, monitor its progress, coordinate meetings and oversee members of the project team.
Analytic work and advocacy:
– to follow the last news and trends, to participate in the working groups, thematic meetings, events of state and local authorities, NGOs, donors, intergovernmental and international organizations;
– to prepare analytic notes, articles, publications of the topics agreed under the scope of work, make social media publications;
– to develop the draft positions of EUEA members, send letters to relevant stakeholders and follow the implementation of positions, keep the policy dialogue, initiate meetings and round tables on the problematic topics with the key stakeholders;
– to prepare the weekly news overview for EUEA members, join the process of monthly market monitoring reports and newsletters.
Communication work:
– to communicate with relevant market players and expand the circle of EUEA members;
– to keep professional and collaborative relations with market players, NGOs, IFIs, donors and stakeholders;
– to initiate and implement the relevant topic activities as round tables, webinars, discussions;
– to fundraise as sponsorship and grants for the EUEA activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Higher Education (in Economy, Business, Energy, Environment, Ecology or equivalent spheres).
- 5 and more years of relevant experience in the core sphere of EUEA work (the biggest value is your enthusiasm for energy efficiency and energy management, hard-working).
- Awareness about Ukrainian energy efficiency, energy management, new trends of green energy and new technologies, non-stop interest in global news and trends.
- Advanced English and Ukrainian.
- Analysis capabilities.
- Capability in design and execution, production of reports and presentations.
- Good user of Microsoft Office, with knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
- Analytic, verbal, and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
- Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, work well with limited supervision.
- Must be able to uphold the EUEA code of conduct 2021.
