On the conference were discussed issues on experience and possibilities of energy efficient technologies usage. Special attention was paid to the spheres of metallurgy, chemical industry, industry of building materials, technologies of energygeneration by using mine gas in the coal industry, and also to the possibilities of financing and instruments of assistance to energy efficiency.

During his speech, Anatoliy Kinakh pointed out that energy efficiency today has a fundamental value for further effective development of the domestic economy. The programs on energy efficiency and energy saving must become the first priority task for the state in order to release economy from the burdensome dependence on imported energy sources and protect the environment.
