On Thursday, May 13, EUEA had a working meeting with Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Mr. Serhii Tihipko. During the meeting EUEA introduced main goals, activities, and shared the opinion on the need of energy efficiency reforms to stimulate investment and economic growth. Mr. Tihipko, while saying that his scope of work now includes the gas reform and tariff setting for communal and housing sectors, stated that he would be willing to learn more about EUEA proposals for reforms and discuss possible projects. EUEA will present the vision of the strategy for initial actions needed to stimulate the investment into the energy efficiency and will continue the dialogue with Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine.
