Following the postponing of the 6th European-Ukrainian Energy Day, European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA) will hold a satellite event, in collaboration with Children protection center “Our Kids”, which will focus on the residential sector and the potential responsibility each citizen, may have in the path to sustainable development of the energy market in Ukraine.
Speakers and participants will discuss the transition to energy democracy, where each household can participate in the creation of a new, more efficient energy sector. Specifically, the event’s speakers will describe the options and logic behind the selection of energy suppliers, principles of energy efficiency and renewable energy in households, and explain the importance of personal responsibilities for energy consumption and relevant consequences for the country.
