It is a final stage of negotiations between Ukrainian government and energy providers, which will import electricity to Ukraine under agreements of “neighbouring countries”. This will allow stopping disconnection of power till the end of the year.
As previously reported, the shortage of power and electric power generation has arisen in connection with emergency shutdown on power plants due to lack of fuel and damage to the equipment units.
26 units in power plants, 20 power generating companies (8 blocks PJSC “DTEK Dniproenergo” and 11 units at PJSC “Centrenergo”) were disabled for the emergency requests – due to low stocks of coal in storage power plants, which will last for 2-10 working days.
