newsUkraine’s electricity exports will reach 10 billion kW/h in 2013 according to the Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Sergey Cheh.

“We have a 750 kW transmission line, which is already involved in exporting to the Hungarian direction. If we build a direct current link, the exports from Burshtynsk TPP can also be increased up to an additional 3 billion kW/h. The 750 kW transmission line, Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant (Ukraine) – Rzeszow (Poland), which is now in the security mode is not included in the work is also a subject for one or two direct current link connections. Thus, the export of electricity can be doubled” – commented Mr. Cheh.
