On April 1, 2021, it is planned on the Regulator’s agenda to approve the signing of trilateral agreements between NPC “UKRENERGO”, NEURC and the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. From now, after the signing of trilateral agreements, NEURC will be obliged to cover the costs of repaying the obligations of NPC “UKRENERGO” under the loan agreements and Debt Repayment Agreements by including them in the structure of the NPC “UKRENERGO” electricity transmission tariff.
It will be recalled that the debt to producers of electricity from renewable sources has not been repaid yet, and instead of the promised 55% repayment by the end of the first quarter of 2021, only 14% have been repaid. The total amount of old debt for 2020 is UAH 22.4 billion.
