EUEA logo text ENGWithin this series of talks among industry professionals EUEA will try to define and calculate the risks faced by developers of renewables in Ukraine, as well as outline a realistic assessment of the investment potential of the industry.

For over a year National Commission for State Energy and Public Utilities Regulation of Ukraine (NCSEPUR) holds a monologue around the effectiveness of “green” tariff as a measure to stimulate the development and promotion of investments into Ukrainian renewable energy, especially foreign investments.

Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine; ensuring competitive conditions for the production of electricity from alternative energy sources”, better known as a “Bill 2010” once again amends the tariff downward, parliamentary hearings are pending.

On April 28, 2015, at 14:00 in Ukrainian House EUEA will hold the first meeting of professional talks that will focus on wind energy – “RES in Ukraine: Risk. Wind Energy”.

Schedule of further meetings:

June 2015 – Biomass

September 2015 – Solar Energy

November 2015 – Alternative energy: small hydro, geothermal, recycling and more.
