On 11th September 2013 EUEA co-hosted the 3rd International Energy Forum “Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency” in Zaporizhzhya
Together with the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Communal Services of Ukraine EUEA gave way to the presentation of the latest developments in the fields of EE and RES and also took a closer look at the regional development of Zaporizhzhzya and its relevant region.
The specialized exhibitions “Energy – 2012”, “Environmental technology: Alternative Energy”, “Energy efficiency and energy saving”, and “Domostroy. Fall – 2013” also took place in parallel.
During the event, David Ceschia, EUEA Interim Director, gave the presentation “Ukraine in the Energy Community”, providing a close look at the reasons for Ukraine to be in the European Energy Community (EEC), its benefits, obligations and status of implementation.
Representatives of EUEA-Members “Energy Industry Research Center (EIR)” and DTEK subsidiary company “Wind Power” also participated to the forum by presenting their suggestions for further regional developments of Zaporizhzhya.
