The EBRD invested over €1.1 billion through 51 private and public sector projects in Ukraine, making it the second-largest economy for the Bank in terms of investments in 2019. This is also the largest number of transactions signed in a single country by the EBRD. €680 million of the total investments in 2019 were classified as green, which is the best result across all EBRD economies.

On Tuesday, January 21, 2020, the Minister of Energy and the Environment Oleksiy Orzhel presents the draft Concept of the Green Energy Transition by 2050, which is conditioned by the transformation of approaches to the development of energy in the world and special attention to the problems of combating climate change.
During the event, Oleksiy Orzhel will talk about the Ministry’s planned steps for the sustainable development of the energy sector and the overall transition of Ukraine to a climate-neutral economy in the long term.
