EUEA members participated in Ukraine Policy Dialogue Executive Conference – a joint initiative of IHS Cambridge Energy Research Associates and the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine. Among the EUEA members at the Summit were: DTEK, Arzinger law firm, Philips Ukraine LLC, Ukrtransrail Ltd, Schneider Electric.
The Executive Conference marked the culmination of a six-month research program and dialogue among the key stakeholders in Ukraine’s natural gas sector. At the conference, IHS CERA presented their findings on the geological potential of Ukraine’s conventional and unconventional natural gas endowment and the necessary investment requirements and national policies to facilitate the realization of Ukraine’s natural gas promise. The conference was designed to provide insight and recommendations on Ukraine’s natural gas, energy efficiency, and energy future, and consisted of discussions and presentations by senior international and Ukrainian policy and energy officials, including Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko.
