On December 28, 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine published Resolution №1395 on providing in 2021 a state guarantee on the obligations of PJSC “NPC“ Ukrenergo ”to ensure the fulfillment of debt obligations under the loan to maintain liquidity and sustainability of NPC“Ukrenergo” in the amount of UAH 1.1 billion.

By this resolution, the Cabinet of Ministers resolves to the Ministry of Energy together with NPC “Ukrenergo” and SE “Guaranteed Buyer” to ensure the use of borrowed funds to repay debts incurred in accordance with the power purchase agreements of electricity at the “green” tariff, which were concluded by the “Guaranteed Buyer” with electricity producers who set the “green” tariff.
